]]> U.S. higher education institutions are increasingly focusing on international internships and experiential activities for their students, emphasizing the critical link between academic advancement, intercultural competencies, and global workforce needs.? 

As part of the AIFS Abroad-IIE Global Education Research Reports series, Global Internships and Study Abroad: An Employer Perspective, is the newest study examining the experiences and outcomes of U.S. students who participated in global internships and in-person experiential activities during their study abroad experience. 

The report also includes three institutional case studies and incorporates the perspectives of employers participating in global internship programs, examining the considerations, conditions, and benefits of hosting international interns. Invited institution and employer representatives will join this webinar to extend the report outcomes into dialogue.  

International education professionals from the IIENetwork and wider IIE global community are welcome to participate to hear from invited speakers, contribute your own perspectives and experiences, and ask questions.
